Fire Safety - Cross Country Compliance...
An EPM Solutions team of consultants recently completed a cross country project for a UK based utility infrastructure business.
Helping our customer to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, our consultants travelled from the Mersey to the Thames to Undertake Fire Safety Risk Assessments for five operational and manned pumping stations.
Our role was to visit each site, carry out an assessment and provide an Interim Report to the Site Supervisors at end of each site visit to highlight any immediate actions.
Subsequent detailed recommendations were provided in individual reports for each site and an overall summary report was also issued to consolidate all recommendations and actions in one place.
EPM Solutions were awarded this contract on the basis of a competitive and technically competent tender bid.
This successful project highlights a particular service offering available to our customers.
EPM undertake Fire Safety Risk Assessment and annual re-assessments for a number of customers, across a variety of industry sectors specialising in Industrial & Hazardous Environments.
Closely linked and in addition to this service our team also undertake Hazardous Area Classification Studies, develop and maintain Hazardous Area Classification Drawings for our customers. We are therefore familiar with Hazardous Areas and associated Legislation / Standards e.g. ATEX and the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations (DSEAR).
